there is a differnce. i have nba live 06 for 360 and original but I cannot play the original xbox version on my 360 which I actually prefer. There is more content avalible on the 360 version's of games because microsoft is now earning more money from the 360 than the original xbox so they spend more time and money on those versions. the new original xbox games are not compatible on the 360 since then everyone would just buy those since they're cheaper. hope I helped clear things up.

All xbox sports games arent backwards compatible because newer or same versions were released. There's maybe 150 games currently backwards compatible but are "older" games if you please. The graphics aren't enhanced, but the 360 graphics obviously are. The 360 games are $10 more but it's worth it. The sports games however are horrible on the 360, because of the loss of "gameplay feel". For a list of all backwards compatible games go to the website below. The list keeps growing and updates are released via xbox live.

I play sports games on 360, and they definitely have gameplay feel.

The bottom line is that if you buy 360 versions of games, you get much better visuals than you would simply playing an Xbox game on the 360, though regular Xbox games do look al lot better on 360 than on the old Xbox.

Actually only 10 bucks more since the xbox games are old they marked them down a bit. And there isin't any diffirence between the games except less loading times and a few graphic changes.
