Have you ever been racially insulted or been made fun of because of your race when you went to elementary,jr.high, or high school? Or has anyone ever judged you and was wrong? What did it feel like? I'm just wondering because I've been insulted because of my race and I just want to know if this has happened to anybody.

Not while I was going to school (not for race, anyway) but as a teacher in the inner city. I could do nothing right for my boss and I overheard a parent talking to a friend about me as a teacher saying, "She OK for a white woman." I also had a student call me an f***ing white b**ch and not be punished for it.

I know how hard it is to do your best and just want to be accepted and get on with things and still be insulted and put down because of your race. You are better than that. You will move on.

I've been insulted. I used to have these people that would pin me down and spit on my face at the bus stop, take my lunch money, throw rocks at me and ridicule my race. I was about 7 years old. They got in trouble for cutting my head open one day and I stood up for them with the school principle, telling her that they didn't mean to. After that we all became somewhat friends. My point is that usually when people are racist, it is just because of their own fears. I think that the best way to overcome this is to somehow figure out how to let them know that you are just like them. I don't mean to sound too corny but when people stop and get to know one another, they usually can't hate each other.

This happens to just about everybody, the only one i remember is when i was in 5th grade i had some really good friends who are black and i am white while at lunch they started talking about soul food and i wanted to say something and they shot me down they where like "your white you dont know anything about it and completly ignored me." while i know this is very very trivial compared to what other people have gone through i found it surprising because it came from such a good friend. Just know that you are not alone.

Yes, I am insulted all the time because of my race. And when i do make friends with the other race, they make like they are embarrassed to be around me during that time.

definite, once that change into truly unusual change into in Hilo, Hawaii. i change into putting my groceries on the counter, waiting my turn and a large Hawaiian women human beings in the back of me appeared truly mean at me and mouthed the words," F you Howlie Bit**." I had not in any respect considered her previously and change into basically minding my own organization. they're very racisit in Hawaii no longer all people yet a huge many all people is. Edit: Howlie is what white all people is termed in Hawaii, little do they don't forget that my grandmother change right into a community American. basically shows how human beings choose without understanding something.

Don't mind them, if you ignore them, they will eventually stop, because they will not be able to get a rise from you, which that's what they are looking for, just remember everyone can't be the same, people are scared of anything diffrent then them. But the answer to your question Yes! all my life.

It happens to just about everybody these days. Don't let the small minded people get to you. Give it back if it bothers you.
