I am getting ready to have an operation, while this is not my first one i always get bored while i am in the hospital what should i take to occupy myself, by the way i am a 19 year old female ( and it will be abdominal surgery so nothing that requires to much movement) Thanks

have you considered books, puzzels, pencils to draw, magazines, portable game boy or something if those are allowed i cant remember if they are or not just some little things like that. Good luck with the surgrey :)

A good book,magazines and word puzzle books.Don't worry if you feel good enough to do too much they will send you home, unless it's elective surgery and you know how long you are staying. The tv is great too.

maybe you should bring an iPod so you can listen to some jams while they cut your insides open
