The war ended the day our commanding generals had dinner in the presidential palace in Baghdad. What was it like 2 or 3 days in to this.
Now the occupation has not gone as well as planed, There is a difference between the two. The occupation will end when the government of Iraq can care for itself. Which will be no time soon. As bad as most of the people what a new government, they are unaware of the benefits of democracy. Until they have in place a system to sustain themselves after the troops come home it would be suicide for there country to allow our solders to leave. Our troops are the only thing standing between the population of Iraq living and a mass genocide. Which even with our presence on the ground, there are still some attempting to murder off the civilians who support a free government.
The occupation will end when Iraq says they don't want or need us there anymore.

Pray it will end soon. The little children are suffering as well as the elderly and women. Iraq, needs to work hard to comply with the UN. The leaders and men of Iraq, need to plan a Peace plan right now. They blame America, but it is the people who are still at war. I hope and pray it will soon stop, mainly for the sweet little children and their parents. Every one pray for PEACE !!
