I would just be who I am. I'm 16 and wear a 0, which is just fine with me.

what is toooo skinny? or "a little fat"? You mean 10 lbs overweight or underweight? Well then it really does not make much difference. Now 20 to 30 lbs? Well then a little fat makes sense, because being 20 to 30 lbs underweight can really mean that one has some serious health issues. So it really depends. I rather be 20 lbs overweight than20 lbs underweight. What is important is that wether you're healthy or not. You should be at a healthy weight or within the suggested weight for your height/age/sex. One should not guide our body image by what is "sociably accepted" or what the media or magazines define as the correct weight. Because if you really compare the weight of some of the models or "actors" you will find that most of them are grossly underweight by medical standards. It is all about what is healthy not what "society" expects. What society? I was in Europe a few weeks ago, and most women are thin, I asked how they keep in shape, and they said they do not diet or obsess about body image, they walk a lot, take naps, eat well, drink wine and enjoy lasting friendships with lots of people. I did not see one single obese person in Spain at all! and here I see them all the time, even small children.
Maybe Americans tend to be heavier because we obsess about weight, body image, buy low-fat stuff (a joke!) follow the media or allow the media to influence us, work too much, do not take naps, eat on the run, eat too much beef, drink carbonated sodas, eat too many sweets, have less time to nurture friendships...etc. While in Spain I ate anything I wanted for three weeks, took naps, walked all over, sat to two hour lunches, drank wine, enjoyed the company of people, carried on meaninful conversations (with live, real people) and I even lost a few pounds. (not that I am overweight) I have decided to try to follow their lifestyle as much as possible and relax a little.
No magazine computer enhanced picture or some waif will influence the way I want to look. I look just right for me, for my spouse and I fall within the medical guidelines as far as weight is concerned for my height.

I'd be a little fat... I don't wanna be anorexic! Being toooo skinny is very dangerous.

A little fat...too skinny just makes me think of whimpy and frail people. I wouldn't want to feel like anyone could beat me up, or that I couldn't lift anything and that I my break at any time. Plus a little fat is more fun to hug and cuddle with then a bony stick.

I rather be a little fat because being too skinny is too skinny and it is not healthy.

Personally I have been both and I would prefer to be a little to fat or overweight. All of the skinny chicks are anorexic..aren't they? You need a little meat on those bones for all of the extra cirricular activities...:)

I'd rather have too much than not enough. Not enough and people will think you're sick or on some drugs. Too much, and you can still exercise, be healthy & maintain yourself.
BUT, who cares what others think. Live your life !! You only get one shot! Live it to the fullest

Trying to gain weight is easy, but losing it can be a nightmere. So I'd much rather be too skinny.
