My 4 year old took a magic marker to my fathers brown leather lazy boy recliner. It is finished or polished leather not suede. I need to know how to get it off.

I don't know how it would work on a soft surface like leather, but going over the mark with a dry-erase marker and then wiping can remove permanent marker from many surfaces.

This may SOUND crazy... so try it on an area that doesn't show first.

But.. if you get permanent marker on a dry erase board... we just use a normal dry erase marker on top of that.. and IT ERASES the permanent marker! I stress... make sure you try the dry erase marker on a hidden location first to make sure it doesn't cause damage... then give it a go!

Worth a try!

Good luck!

Go to WalMart & in the automotive department get a can of McGuires leather cleaner & conditioner.

That will clean it.
