You can call RTA at 1-773-836-7000 or just dial the number straight out without the area code..Press 0 and speak to customer service..Someone should be able to help you out from there.

Get off at the Jefferson Park Station off the Metra Union Pacific, then transfer over to the Blue Line and make sure to take it towards Chicago and out directly to Forest Park. This is the least amount of walking and would probably get you there the fastest.

Sorry, no stop in Forest Park from the northwest line. FP is located at the west ends of both the blue line and green line on the CTA. The Metra west line also stops in Oak Park. That leaves from Union Station. Get off train in Oak Park...walk 2 blocks to Harlem AV & Forest Park. Check the following site for a specific route:

highway 32 (Sheridan Rd. / Lakeshore Dr.) runs each and every of ways from Milwaukee to Chicago and follows outstanding inclusive of the lake. possibly no longer the main scenic in some areas, yet you will locate some staggering spots alongside the way. Plus it extremely is amazingly elementary to maintain on with - solid success!! ** I propose battling off interior the smaller suburbs north of Chicago, there are some extremely staggering eating places and shops**
