The problem with trying to learn to trill (or roll your r's) is the fact that you are not putting your tongue in the right spot in your mouth, because in English or your native language that is not a natural position for your tongue.
The easiest way to try and retrain your mouth is to lay on your bed at the foot and hang your head over the end. Lay with your neck over the end of the bed and then practice trilling. Say all the words that you have trouble saying. You will see where your tongue needs to be to successfully trill.
One good practice word to use is ferrocarril which means railway in Spanish.
Good luck and keep practicing.
Buena suerte!

Put a little saliva between your tongue and teeth and make an r sound. This writer isn't good at it--some people are excellent.

I don't know. I think you are born with it if you can do it. I was trying to do that with my daughter once and missed an exit while driving. still can't trill them but she can. Its like touching your nose with your tongue.
