According to astrology, one of two things can happen: either you drive each other crazy or you have an insane amount of passion because you're so different. If a Leo can get into an Aquarian's world and heart, said Aquarian will do more than just pay attention. Now if Aquarius can somehow manage to see through Leo's desire to spend lots of alone time with Aquarius and be appreciated for it, the relationship will certainly work.
Realistically, it depends on the person. I'm an Aquarian who dated a Leo at one time. We had an insane amount of passion within the relationship. The reason it didn't work was because we were in two different places mentally. So, in the course of the relationship, we ended up both having an insane amount of passion AND driving each other nuts. Today, he and I are very close friends.

I really believe that Aquarius & Leo can work. I an (Aquarius) have been with my love a (Leo) for 8 yrs. now. I will tell you that he does make me crazy but at the same can't be apart. I think it works because I am so peaceful and mellow. Since Leo's have a temper they can get angry pretty quick for whatever reason sometimes. But he says that I help him calm down and that he feels good and at peace with me. I think he gives me that extra boost when I feel down or doubt myself. Telling me positive and good things to cheer me up. I know it might sound weird but I truly believe Aquarius & Leo are very compatible. Complimenting each other.

Yes! Leo's are passionate and Aqua can respect Leo for their go-getting attitude, which Aqua lacks sometimes.
Also, Leo can learn to think instead of act (from aquarius). Leos and Aquarius are good together. I think the annoying part is that Leos may get ahead of themselves with the whole "me" thing, that of which Aquarius get annoyed with.

Yes! I'm a Leo and my spouse is an Aquarian. We're opposite most of the times, but our differences complement not complicate.
