i Belief Religon holds every one back... bcoz its rooted into the human brain... that sitting there wil help us find the meaning of life witch its Bull Sh%$ get out the and find it your self witch makes us the only god on this planet each and every one of us has the power to change the world its just bcoz of Religon.. the meaning of life is to explore the life it self... if it scares you then its works the excitement of edverture.. and yes i do think in stead of building Nuclear Weapons and trying to look so powerfull they should be saveing the planet and Exploring other planets and space it self.... like all the SCIFI stuff

The meaning of life is very important. But without new technology to help our environment there won't be any life. Also some day the earth will be overcrowded and worn out , we need to develop better ways to travel in space to find places for people to live or build them. This is the garden of eden and we will be kicked out because of our own greed and stupidity.

I don't think that most of current technology is a waste. I also don't think that we should be dedicated entirely to exploring beyond our planet. We should continue to explore space, while improving life on our planet. I'm not positive that we will find the meaning of life in space either.

I too believe that religion holds everything back but that's for another debate.

We should focus on getting into space ASAP as right now, since wee are all on earth, humanity as a race has all it's eggs in one basket.

If a dinosaur killer meteor hits we're toast. All that we are ceases to exist. Back to the drawing board.

I think this URL explains it best, and it's a real good book too

It is a matter of opinion,of course.

Which is more important, finding out more about the universe or improving the quality of life on this planet?

I believe we are squandering time, money and resources in perpetuating NASA.

Very costly. in spite of if, if we ought to, I even have each and every of the poisonous waste despatched into the sunlight to be incinerated. it may be silly & irrisponsable to shoot it out into open area.
