Can somebody please tell me the speaker, situation, listener, how the quotation affects the plot and the character, how it shows the theme and how it creates suspense, conflict.

Poor sacrifices of our enmity!
A glooming peace this morning with it brings
The sun for sorrow will not show his head.”
