White Sox.
Better team, better stadium, better fans.
The White Sox haven't had a losing team yet this decade. They've had winning seasons in 13 of the last 16 years. They won the World Series in 2005.
The Cubs? Well, they've had back-to-back winning seasons ONCE in the last 37 years. How pathetic is that? They had the worst record in the National League this past year. They have no chance this year unless Zambrano pitches every day. Yet their "fans" truly believe Ted Lilly, Jason Marquis and Wade Miller are going to lead them to the promised land. Idiots.

The Whitesox are a better team but the cubs have a better stadium and more enthusiastic fans. Hate to say this because I sound like everyone else from Chicago but I still have hope for the cubs and I can't just switch teams because I grew up a cubs fan.

The Cubs. Why? 1908. That was the last time the won the World Series. It's safe to say the Cubs and Cubbie fans are long over due.

Sox.
I grew up in the southwest suburbs. My friends were a mix of Sox fans and Cubs fans. In the late 80's, I decided I was more of a Sox fan, because I felt more like a South Sider. It seems to me that the Cubs experience is about hanging out at Wrigley. Fine, it's a nice setting --- one of the last classic ballparks. The Sox experience is about *baseball*.
If the Cubs ever get to the Series, I'll be happy for them, because they'll put Chicago up there, but Sox have done it.
Plus, I like the black and white.
Hurry up, Cubbies, it's been nearly a century....

Cubs because I grew up on the northside and grew up being a fan! Go Cubbies! And also....Wrigley Field is the best place! White Sox are ok....congrats to them winning the World Series and yes the park has parking lots and good food, but I wil always be a Cubs fan!

The Cubs. The White Sox won it two years ago and their fans could not have been any more pleased. It was a great site to see as a fan.
I think it's time Cub fans got to experience that feeling. It's been a long time coming.

Let's see, what would be the most antagonostical answer to this question..... THE CARDINALS, BABY!! GO CARDS! 2006 WORLD CHAMPIONS!! WHO CARES ABOUT SOX OR CUBS, NEITHER CAN BEAT THE CARDS!!! But on a lighter note, i'd have to go with the Cubs, because i don't like the American League.

cubs because they r usually the underdog. going to a cubs game is one of the funnest things. the whitesox suck and their fans stink as well
