No! The Big Bang was the very beginning of all natural law (including time). From 0 to 10^-43* seconds, all the matter in the Universe existed in a space no bigger than a marble, from which the Big Bang began to take place, guided by the Superforce.This Superforce began to split into two forces, The Grand Unified Force and the gravitational force.After some time, at 10^-12** seconds, The Grand Unified Force broke into three parts: the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force and the electromagnetic force.

time started with the creation of the universe often referred to as the big bang. before that time there was no time there was only God. He is outside of time. no one really knows when it happened like no one knows when the earth was formed and when it was re-created later...it is known as the "gap theory" and is between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. It is also mentioned in several other places in the
Bible. It makes for good study if you want to pursue it...some believe in the "gap theory" and some don't.
