oh my gosh yes... i am pregnant with my third child.. and found out it was a girl.. now with my other two i would eat almost everything in sight and never get full.. well with this little one I have to force my self to eat b/c i'm not hungry at all and when I do eat I take a few bites and am full. As long as you eat like 5 small meals a day and drink lots of water you should be fine. Just don't starve yourself.. i know its hard to eat when you are just not hungry but its for the baby...

I'm 34 weeks and the thought of putting ANY food into my mouth is enough to make me sick to my stomach. I keep reminding myself that it's best for the baby. So I eat just little things through out the day. A PB&J sandwich here, some kind of vegetable about an hour or two later. If I don't think I can eat anything, I at least drink a glass of milk. I try to drink plenty of milk (and I am NOT a fan of milk) and water through out the day. According to my doctor, my daughter is growing at the expected rate.
I keep hoping that I can keep this diet after she is born. Maybe then I won't have to diet to loose any weight later on in life! LOL

I was that way during my whole pregnancy. I've always said that pregnancy is the best diet ever! Some people get morning sickness, others just have an aversion to some foods or decreased appetite.
When you do eat, make sure you are eating foods packed with nutrients (like fruits/veggies, lean meats, whole grains) and steer clear of the junk food. That way even if you are eating small amounts, you are still giving you and your baby everything you need for a healthy pregnancy.

when i first was pregnant, everytime i looked at food i wwanted to puke, therefore i wouldnt eat much and when i did eat, i could barely eat anyting at all. ( i would eat about 1/3 of a 6 in sandwhich instead of my normal full sandwhich). as long as your not going all day without eating something, youll be okay. but if you find yourslef not able to eat, force something down or if youre throwing everything that you eat up, call your doctor. you may be able to get some medicine that will help with the nausea. the stigma is when your pregnant all you want to do is eat. thats not true, esp the first few months. dont worry too much. just make sure you eat what you can. try eating more stuff like crackers. go to the store and just stroll up and down the aisles. grab what looks good to you and eat it asap.

Yes. my Dr said that when your body needs some thing you will get hungry. I told her that my baby must need a lot of ice cream. She just smiled and said yes the calcium. I'm 29 weeks and can barely eat any thing(no more room) so I eat 8 to10 very small meals a day. Hope it helps, if some thing is wrong your Dr will tell you.

Yes it's normal, just think yo stomach is being pushed out of the way to make room for baby to grow, so small meals will feel you up or even make yo feel sick if you eat to much. I was never really hungry with all three of my pregnancies except for the things I really craved and I still gained 70lbs (11lbs baby)with my second child, my husband was like how did you have such a big baby and you hardly ate, he was making a joke about the size of our baby.

it's perfectly normal. I'm 7 weeks and I had that problem for 2 weeks. I now can eat but only small portions. I also become full too easily.
