Depending on which parts of the ring have come up red, that means that the xbox 360 has RROD (red ring of death) as its known, that is if the top right, bottom right and bottom left are glowing red. This means that their is a hardware faliure and it is time to call mircrosoft to get a new one (if you still have your waranty), but befor you do this try restarting it because this ha happend to myn a few times and it works fine now. If any other order of red lights blink, dont worry about it, just unplug and replug everything to fix it Cheers

Like the other guy said call their tech support. Go to the xbox website and get the number to get it repaired. It does have a 1 year warranty on it now, so i hope that 360 isn't over a yr old.

Did you say RED light? Sorry to say, but your system is now a fancy looking doorstop/paperweight/brick. Same thing happened to my Xbox some years back. If the prices are still the same as they were when I got mine serviced, be prepared to fork over $100.
