I've met Payne Stewart (now sadly passed away) at the Open in St Andrews. What a beautiful person he was. Also Jack Nicklaus - he stood for ages giving autographs. Kevin Costner at the Open too - he was very pleasant (didn't think he would be).

I met the singer of the Spin Doctors at Tipitina's in New Orleans....he bought me a drink (Jack Daniels).
Also met the singer of the Black Crowes in a bar in Atlanta. I was majorly drunk and on a blind date wtih a guy named Wolfie. We sat and talked astrology. He was entertained by me bc I had no idea who he was. Wolfie told me after we left the bar.
