Different ingredients affect your skin in different ways. You don't say if the skin is oily, dry, etc. There is yogurt, egg, mango, oatmeal, etc. & they are all good ingredients but some are better for certain types of skin. Personally, steaming one's face (over a hot pot of water; just don't spill it) helps open the pores. About 10 minutes with a towel over your head. Dab off the skin when done & apply a yogurt mask to soften the skin, oatmeal to dry, etc. After, if you have a cheap moisturizer that is hypo-allergenic (Neutrogena) then it will soften her skin plus not plug pores.

I have a few, take your pick:
mash up a ripe avocado (you know, the innards), spread that on your face. Wash off after 10 min (very moisturizing!)
mix honey, a little squeeze of lemon and a handful of oatmeal and put that on your face. Wash off after 10 min--toning and softening!
and then there's the cucumber mask, peel it, slice it, mash it up, put on your face (everything's 10 minutes) wash off...Relaxing and good for your blood vessels.

put turmeric into yogurt and try, it makes your face look nice and clean. If you have acne, you should take like the alchohal they use to clean a scratch and warm it. Then tak cotton, dip it and then leave it there.
