Does this mean I ovulated late?

My last period started on December 26 and I have a regular cycle of 28 days, well I thought I had ovulated the 9th and when I went to my gyn on the 15th, when she checked she said I still had eggwhite like mucus discharge, Would that mean I didn't ovulate until a week before my period? My period is due on the 23rd.

Everyone is different, so it is possible. I recommend that you start charting your basal body temperature and after a few months you will see when you are ovulating. That or you can try to have sex every other day for about 2 weeks in the middle of your cycle. Good luck, you wouldn't think it but getting pregnant is hard work!!

I would suggest you charting your cycles on sites like mymonthlycycles.com or fertilityfriend.com for starters.

Also I would do a google search for ovulation predictor kits or tests and ovulation predictor calanders. http://www.clearblueeasy.com/ and http://www.tummywear.org/fertility_calendars.php

I can't tell you that for sure. But you could try this for a few months and hopefully you will learn your body and what happens before you ovulate and what to look for.
