If you are taking shots I assume you are anemic..pernicious? If so the shot is the only way you will really get enough to control that and you should not try to stop because you will end up tired and it will take soooo long to get your iron built back up. They do sell a sub lingual, under the tongue B-12 tablet but as you must know we don't absorb it very well from any other source, we usually make it in our bodies but some people are lacking the intrinsic factor in the tummy and don't. You also get it from geen leafy veggies and beef. But, in your case you wouldn't get enough from your diet. It will just help you and maybe make you feel better.
