The Nazism movement in 1930's Germany was very common. Is Nazism 'normal'?

I think it's more true than ever, as more people come to their senses and realize we are all born as we are. and we are able to be more open. who decides what's normal anyway? I AM normal!

Absolutely. Oscar Wilde was a wise soul.

'Normal' is a made-up quality that tries to prescribe behavior. In my opinion, there's no sexual orientation that's inherently natural or right. They are all possible options, and sexual attraction, so long as it occurs between consenting adults, is a blank slate in terms of morality. It's what you do with your attractions that makes you moral or immoral.

I would agree with what you said and amend that by saying normal is a word the ignorant use to describe what they're only willing to understand. And thanks for a good Wilde quote. It's certainly more witty than some questions that are posted here.

Heterosexuality is how a species produces the next generation. Therefore it is normal from a natural stand point. While I don't think homosexuality is wrong, I do think it is inconsistent with nature and therefore would be considered a natural defect.

Looking at the history side of humans, how did it become common? Because it is normal. It started as a normal behavior, people agreed to it, most people did it, and then it became common. So because of the roots of heterosexuality I don't agree with the message of this quote.

Yes I do agree, in the animal kingdom and every other aspect of this world there has to be diversity, Heterosexuality is the right way to reproduce, but it is as normal as homosexuality and bisexuality, bc without the diversity, there wouldn't be a world!!

Define "normal". "Healthy"...I don't think heterosexuality is unhealthy. Disruptive to self or others: not necessarily. "Dominant"? Most certainly. So...I don't know which definition of "normal" that quote is true of. The inverse of that statement, however, may not be true.

Yes, I believe this quote is true. Normal is what is acceptable to the individuals and allows them to feel comfortable while in the act.

Normal is in the eye of the beholders!

Utter c**p , normality is perceived to be determined by exactly what is the most common.
You have 10 oranges & 1 bananna, You have a 1 in 10 chance of selecting the bananna, therefore it would be "normal" to select an orange.

No, that quote isn't true! Heterosexuality is very common, and normal! What would make anyone think it isn't normal?
