No, Y!A is doing a good job. Not everyone on here is over 18. There is alot of minors on here and they dont need to see things like that!

No. The censoring is absolutely essential as this is not a Porn site. A large percentage of the users on Yahoo Answers are under the age of 12. Respect other people. Go somewhere else to talk nasty.

LESS censored????
I keep running across incredibly racist and/or sexist remarks all over Yahoo's public forums. (I noticed Yahoo has stopped the discussion posts in news; I'm not surprised!)
While, in principle I don't believe in censorship, I also think that hate language should not be encouraged or welcomed.
With individual rights come tremendous individual responsibilities.

I get violation notices for nothing, the people at Yahoo don't really look to see if it is a violation, if someone doesn't like what you said then they report you.

I agree, but the problem is, idiots go too far....I got a violation for saying "............you'll have to IM me for it" I don't want to get another one, but it really was nothing!!!! If we get all the idiots from the chat rooms no-one will ever come back, so I think we have to live with it :(

There is a website out there that is uncensored. After visiting it a couple of times and reading Q&A with the "F" word every other word, I haven't been back. I'm not a prude-the Q&A were so convoluted it was hard to understand.
