we'd been together for 2 and a half years and have a bit of history together, so I gave him another chance. The problem is, we are supposed to be patching up our relationship, but he always runs off with his "crew" a group of guys who do I don't like because they do illegal things. He started hanging out with them when we were apart and now he can't stay away from them. Any suggestions?

Break up with him. It's tough being in a relationship with someone that does drugs, does illegal things, etc. You're always going to worry about what he's doing, or if he's getting into trouble. Save yourself the headache. There are plenty of kids out there without adults adding to them.

Maybe you should let him know that you don't want to be one of those girls that give her man ultimatums but that you can't handle the thought of being with a jail bird... or someone who can so easily hurt someone else. Because everything that someone dose that is illegal dose hurt someone, You can't watch him fall into that. Tell him you love him but you need a man not a little boy who wants to play like he is a man. Plus he needs to be with you to not just his "crew".
This will be hard but you don't want to get involved with his bad dealing cause telling the cops you didn't know that was happening will not cover it or work. Be strong and know that it will work out in the end.

If he's doing illegal things and you don't want any part of it, you had better say GOODBYE! It sure doesn't sound like your relationship is a priority with him anyways. He has to make his own choices, you can't make them for him. After many years of breaking up and getting back together with my man, I finally came to the conclusion that I had an addiction that I had to break. So I did. Good luck.

You need to think about putting yourself first. He sounds very immature and childish.
If he is hanging around with his "crew" and they are doing illegal things; he will be doing the same soon.

Well cookie, it seems like the reason you guys broke up still stands. So why even bother trying to patch things up with someone who is doing exactly the same thing you broke up with him for? No. Tell him it's either you or them. If he chooses them, count your blessings, he's only going to cause you more pain if you stay with him any longer. If he chooses you, you have yourself a keeper. Here is a suggestion...Kick his BUTT so far to the curb that it will take a rope to pick him up.Getting in trouble because of who he hangs a round with isn't worth it.You are a better person that that.You deserve better and you won't get it if you keep dragging extra baggage around you.Play Kick Ball not Tag Football.

You need to stay away from him and his crew- you do NOT want to get involved in anything like drugs or boos.. Put your safety first. There will always be another guy you can have.... Don't put yourself at risk for one...
