I was in my den one night and reading a book. I saw something move just out of the corner of my eye. I put my book down and look at the wall acroos the room. At that moment, I felt an intesnse feeling of fear and dread. I couldn't explain it, but I knew something was there. I couldn't see it, but I could feel it's presence. Before I knew what I was doing, my body got out of the chair and walked over to the wall. The feeling of fear intensed greatly. A second later the strange feeling was gone. Now, at random times, i feel the strange feeling. It feels as if someone is staring right at you or the feeling you get when your plunging down on a roller coaster. I afraid to even walk into my house alone now. What causes these feelings and how do i make them go away?

Several people who live around strong magnetic fields such as high voltage power lines have complained about the same feelings. Prolonged exposure to these fields can have unpredictable effects upon the human brain. Can make you feel like you are being watched by the supernatural like ghosts or aliens.

It's common to see strange things out of the corner of the eye. It could be an insect, the movement of drapes with the breeze, the shadow of a ceiling fan, the electric power fluctuating, or even just something in your eye.
It's also common to be startled by this because you have no idea what it is...the cause is unknown, and the unknown can inspire fear and alarm. Going to the wall to check it out is a natural reaction...it's what I would have done, too.
Feelings of fear and dread are powerful. With most people, they subside because after examination, you realize there is no cause for concern. In your case, you apparently decided to let your imagination play with it some more, which continued to feed the feeling of dread. This would magnify if you concluded (wrongly) that some mysterious evil presence may be there, a threat to you. Letting your mind jump to irrational conclusions is not going to give you good feelings.
To make them go away, you need to let your rational mind evaluate the situation. Is there something there or not? If not, chalk it up to one of the probable causes listed above. Then go back to enjoying your book. The world is scary enough without imagining things that cannot exist.

Did you just finish watching a horror movie? Sounds to me like the fear isnt really caused by whats there, its what youre making of the experience. Maybe something in your subconscious mind is freaking you out. You just have to figure out what it is or else it will manifest itself in the form of anxiety or panick atacks or the like.

no problem , you have a ghost, learn the history of the house and you may find out who it is. Once you do, when you come into the room, greet the ghost by name, the fear will quickly go away.

Either a) you're on drugs, or b) you're not on enough drugs. So start doing either more or less drugs and that should solve you.
