I'm on 100% commission with a small draw and am totally overwhelmed due to lack of training. I've been there for 2 months and haven't sold a thing. What other opportunities are out there where I can make a lot of money in sales?

start looking for another job or if you lacking that much training maybe you should be looking to get more training so you can be better at what you do

If you haven't sold anything in 2 months, chances are you won't be very successful in sales. But, I could be wrong, so don't let me dissuade you, but let me give you some common sense observations.

Even with lack of training...are you complaining about sales training or product training? To some degree, you would need to be more of a go getter in this department. Meaning, don't wait around for someone to give you information. The best salespeople don't wait around for someone to make a move...they move themselves.

You might want to look into a sales job (because it sounds like this is early in your career in sales, otherwise you wouldn't be w/o sales in two months) that pays a salary plus bonus/commission structure, or one that weans you off of a flat salary after so many months. This way you protect yourself froma company whose only interest is to get the bonus for getting you hired, and then leave you hanging. Also look into home inspection work - they are paid very well. Oh, and they get trained.

I have a great career that I do from my home, it doesn't involve any sales, but you do deal with people alot, so people skills would be a plus. The company is awsome and offers benefits, 401k and full and ongoing training. I really enjoy what I do, maybe it would be a good fit for you. I would be happy to share details.

Realestate. Find a Realestate Company such as Coldwell Bankers and see if they will train you to get your license, pay while you learn and get into a business where it's hard not to make money.
