Wow. I actually think that's a great idea! Just a bit depressing that it's a bit too late for me to start something like that too... I've kept virtually nothing except a few pictures! A plastic container would be good, it can be big as you like, and it's not going to fall apart like a shoe box. For stuff it put in it: + A couple of items of clothing / shoes that maybe no longer fit, but have memories of good times with them + Old posters of favourite bands, etc. + Perfume you wore when you were young. Smell is great for something like this, one sniff, and memories come flooding back :) + Year books (don't know if they'd take up too much room..) + Little gifts and stuff from your ex and your friends that make you smile Err thats all I can think of really. Seriously, good luck with that! And sorry to hear about the breakup with the boyfriend, though you sound happy, so, good for you :)

My daughter will graduate in 2020 and my son will graduate in 2022. Seems like forever!

My first graduated in 2003 -- my next one doesn't graduate until 2019... he starts kindergarten in the fall after she graduates from college this spring! Ha!

Our daughter just did -- in 2006. Then she turned around and quit university after two months because the course wasn't "really her thing". So right now she's working (waiting tables), paying rent (to us) and getting ready to audition for a place in a four-year theater school in September. Hope she makes it (and likes it!)!!!
