I really have no problems with anyones faith or religion, but have found it impossible to even ask a single question about Islam on here, no matter how carefully I choose my words, without someone taking offence.
I even accept that someone, somehow is even going to be offended by my asking this question (please see below, no doubt). But why is that?
Knowledge is the road away from fear - I think, anyway.

Does it matter if you offend someone? Hell, you have a point of view say it, don't be prissy, just get it off your chest and if someone doesn't like it they can counter it with an intelligent response.

Don't kowtow to Political correctness, speak your mind, such that we may have open and honest debate. Through disagreement comes progress.

Can't remember the old boy who said it but I do agree. "I may not agree with what you say, but I shall defend you right to the death to say it."

Education defeats racism not shutting doors to our minds.

Someone is likely to get offended in some way, I think - but of course it depends on how the q is phrased, etc etc. So much communication is non-verbal that when you can't see the other person, it's easy to misinterpret things, isn't it?

Not on here noe, I like nothing better than a good debate, but often as not people don't read the whole question or don't absorb what you're saying, and just answer what they presume you meant. Either that or they just can't accept that someone else has a difference of opinion.

What's your question anyway ? ;)

it is probably an offence against islam to talk about islam without being a muslim, something to do with it being defiled by the mouths of the infadel or something

( i am so going to get violated for this answer, arnt i. ohwell bye bye twelve points! )

I haven't seen a question on here that didn't have an agenda of either generating fear or hatred...of course there are innocent questions but don't think we who detest the racists and bigots are stupid.

No one is against open and free debate...just don't patronise us.

I have also found it impossible to answer questions about any religion here as well. Sad bit, it is.

I experienced it myself many times. And, I live here in the Kingdom of the Desert. See what I mean! Bye.

You can't please everybody, but you have to be sure that you don't show any bias leanings towards your questions. Use tact and avoid generalizations.
