Can anybody help me? im 15 and im going to have a reconstructive surgery on my knee. What do they do? When will i be able to play for my junior high basketball team? How long will i be out of basketball? im having the surgery on thursday. Should i be scared? anything will be help full. Will i be able to play sports at all after this? Thanks

You can play basketball after this becuase one of my favorite team's players had the same surgery and he is already practicing. His name is Rashad McCants for the Minnesota Timberwolves. I hope the surgery goes well for you and you can go back to being a basketball star!

i had my right knee done october 2005 and i could have went to state in march but the doctor didnt want to take the risk, and i went back to playing that summer and i am playing now, if you are real serious about playing make sure that you do your rehab cause that is the most important part, you should be fine, you might have to wear a brace but the doctor told me that i didnt have to,

They repair your knee!! I bet you are worried, but it's allright!
