Or does anyone know of a website where restaraunts might be listed?

My Dad is allergic to a LOT of foods, including wheat gluten.

When they came to visit in November, I researched a bunch of upscale restaurants and the following (two of my favorites) don't use wheat or gluten in any of their recipes (but avoid the bread):

La Petite Jardin
South of Pico, East of Robertson
Easy street parking

Doug Arango's
On Melrose (South) West of Robertson
Easy street parking, but they have Valet

There is a raw restaurant in Santa Monica, but the food is horrible and it is overpriced.

The "Newsroom Cafe" near the Beverly Center is pretty healthy with their own smoothie bar. Any restaurant can be healthy if you order carefully and be cautious of your portion intake. Self control...it's easier said than done. :)
