1. u can get a tax deductible donation when u give them to charities for women who live in domestic violence shelters,
2. you can check the internet for cell phone carriers that pay for your old phones, or
3. you can call local recycling places and see if they take them, some do some dont, and u do get paid for them.

A lot of womens shelters use donated older cell phones. They are then programed to only ring emergancy services, and given to the women who need them.
