I just need to know what dose ***DVD±R/±RW/CD-RW*** mean in a Laptop?
Dose it mean I can play any DVD &/or CDs or just recored in these formates?
Or something else?

+ - is the polarity of the cd doesnt really mean anything in new burners cuz they can burn to either.

DVD +R is a format much like VHS
DVD -R is a competing format like Beta
Most players will use either format.
Most computer recorders will record either. I prefer to record on +R media because almost every DVD player today will play them.
A +/- RW is a DVD that can be written on erased and used again.
In your case your laptop will play and record any current DVD or CD rewritable or not. Everything that is current.

It means you can watch/listen to Cd's and DVD's and you can also Burn DVD's & CD's.......RW means Rewritable which you can erase blank CD's and DVD's that also have the RW on them...

You have full functionality, you can read any of the disks as well as write to the disks, and rewrite (erases old data) on disks as well.
Make sure the disks are compatible, you cannot write to a CD-R and you cannot rewrite to a DVD-W

DVD+r = watch a DVD
/RW = Watchor upload or burn
CD/RW = listen or burn

dvd r =dvd writable (write/burn onto dvd)
dvd rw = dvd rewritable (erase, write/burn onto dvd)
cd rw = same as above but with cd

DVD +-R means it can read +R and -R DVD formats
/+-RW means it can burn DVD's in addition to being able to add informaiton to re-writable DVD's
CD-RW means it can read and burn CD's in addition to being able to add informaiton to re-writable CD's
