Absolutely. In fact, you can mark it as "shipment refused".

If you happen to see the UPS driver in your area, you can just hand it to him.

We ship hundreds of packages a day via UPS, and when a customer cancels an order after we've shipped it, we just tell them to refuse shipment.

You didn't make it clear if you were shipping the package and wanted to make sure it was either delivered, OR if you had received a package which you did not want.

If you are sending a package and wish to mark it return to sender in case it is not delivered: No need.. if UPS can not deliver the package it will automatically be returned to you if you give them the correct address when you ship it.

If you have received something you do not want, as long as it is unopened you can just call up UPS and they will return it to the shipper. Just mark it REFUSED - RETURN and either coordinate a pickup by phone with UPS or simply give the package to a UPS truck/driver.

simple and easy both ways....

Yes, just refuse to accept the package. UPS will return it to the sender as refused delivery.

Sure, just refuse it.

If it has been delivered to your door, call UPS and tell them you have not authorized this shipment and you wish them to take it back. It also pays to call the sender and tell them I'm not keeping it and I'm not paying for it. They may be interested in getting it back.

best of luck

You can refuse a package from UPS, but if the package has been opened, you have to pay shipping in order to get it sent back.

Sounds like what you want to know is "Can I get a UPS package, add or subtract from the contents, reseal it, and call UPS and tell them to take it back to the person who sent it?" - the short answer is UPS is a for-profit business. They will not ship packages for you for free.

Yes. You can also call them and they will pick it up at your home or office at no charge. If you are in an urban area, UPS will come by any day you wish. If you are in a rural area, UPS may only come by once or twice a week to pick up parcels.

Hope this helps!! have a great day!
