I'm getting really sick of skanky bratz dolls- and barbie is no better! When I was little, barbie came with careers and wedding dresses.. I looked around in a toy store, and all I saw was dolls in short skirts, tank tops, heels and way too much makeup. I'm sick of seeing little girls in knee-high boots and short skirts, or pants that say 'spank it!" across the butt. I know sex sells, but how can it possibly be moral to sell it to children? How are we teaching children the right things? Does anyone agree with me?

I have a 5 year old and Bratz dolls was all she wanted for Christmas. Like an idiot I got her one and she doesn't even play with it; of course.
The dolls are the trashiest thing I have seen in a long time. The clothes in the Limited Too are too slutty for words. My oldest liked the clothes in Limited Too when she was small enough to wear them. Needless to say she didn't get much stuff from there it was too expensive and way too provocative and in 7 years it has only gotten worse. A 7 year old has no business in an off the shoulder shirt and booty shorts.
My kids girls are being raised with some morals. I have explained to the little one that real people don't dress like the dolls and the big one thank the gods likes to wear a lot of clothes. She is starting to get into the Goth scene which is just fine with me. They walk around fully clothed all the time.

I totally agree! It is just wrong! With those Bratz dolls, what do they think women are for? To go to parties in skimpy dresses? They are creating the image that all women can do is look good and not be sucessful with their jobs, etc. life overall, pretty much. I haven't seen those spank it pants yet, but I am pretty sure It'll come.

I see your point but they also dont want kids to get poisioned. I would think you would be more concerned with that than wether you can get thrift store clothes. Im sure that the parents of kids you got sick because of lead wished that something like this would have been done to avoid it. Before everyone gets mad at me for saying this I do shop at thrift stores and Im not the richest person. But one person above said things like freecycle is a great way to get clothes and garage sales. I honestly dont think they will ban people from having a garage sale that doesnt have one of those machines.

I think you are right about the bratz dolls. They shouldn't be made for young girls because they just aren't good examples of how they should want to be.

Yes I agree. I have a boy though thank God lol. One thing that really bothers me though is the name brand APPLE BOTTOMS and BABY PHAT clothes made for little girls. Baby Phat isn’t as bad though even though ''phat'' spelled that way is an acronym for pretty - hot - and - tempting lol but apple bottoms which obviously refers to a woman's rear end is ridiculous. Rap music videos degrade women enough, we don’t need girls thinking they need to wear clothes that are a reflection of that too!

I totally agree. Me and my friends were talking about this the other day. Now this country has a major 3 year old hooker crisis on it's hands. Isn't it great what the world is coming to.!!
