I thought the book "Watching the World Change: The Stories Behind the Images of 9/11" by David Friend was amazing. Much of it is told through the eyes of the many photographers who captured the events, but there are also many interviews with collapse survivors, people who lived near the Towers, and people who lost loved ones. It is absolutely riveting and without a doubt the best post-9/11 book out there.

Any one else?

whilst this e book does no longer mesh with what you're inquiring approximately, it is my favourite Nonfiction e book. Breaking the exterior - the Greg Louganis tale is a heartfelt, touching, and at moments depressing view into the existence of an olympian who lived contained in the shadow of two secrets and methods... one, he's a gay and a pair of he has been clinically determined with HIV. not often has the written be conscious made me cry... and this may be considered one of those uncommon gemstones.

It is a biography of Jim Morrison, the singer for The Doors, and it covers his life from childhood all the way to his death.
It gives you a real insight into his psyche.
