I certainly hope so.
But Mangini needs to establish a better offense. What I mean is, get more talented players, and let Schottenheimer focus on the offensive schemes. As for the defense, it's pretty good right now, but of course it could always get better. Who knows what Mangini will do in the future with the Jets...me and all Jets fans can only hope for the best.

Mangini should have stayed with New England for a year or two longer and a real good head coaching job most likely would have been available. San Diego, perhaps, God knows that discipline most likely cost them a Super Bowl. Jets will be a hard working team but they are a long way off, despite making the playoffs this year. Next year, look for no more that an 8-8 season as they take a step back, just like Miami did this year.

Not with what he has to work with..........Changes have to be made and Mangini is still wet behind the ears.....I really don't think he's ready for a head coaching job and still has a lot to learn.....He also needs some better players, especially on defense..........CAT
