Stalking is not GOOD. If some is is stalking another person ,this alone is not good behavior. They have to be obsessed with the intent to control this person. Usually the person is outgoing and successful and popular that is being stalked. Stalking is a behavior of a not so normal mind and is criminal in nature. A normal person just does not get up one morning and says" I think I stalk so and so". The stalker needs mental help .

stalking can be needed for many reasons

revenge, jelousy

most of the 7 deadly sins are reasons to stalk a person

but the stalking your probably thinking of is from a mentally instable person
usually with little sense of reality, very shy/unsocialble, and lust(they might think its love but its really not like love @ first sight type thing)
and they usually want to make/devlop some time of relationship with the person but cant so they watch/stalk them
ex: you see a really good looking person(of your preferance) walk by you and you cant get the courage to talk to them
so you watch them and you start to feel like you are getting to know the person
so you continue for days until the need to be with them grows so much that you physically attack them(not in all but in alot of cases)

and they can get away with it usually too because there is no physical harm done

even though thats how it usually ends

but also stalking as alot of young people think of it as is usually more coincidental/not meant to harm the victim of the stalked

Because:

1. Obsession
2. The are afraid to go up and talk to the person or ask them out or something like that

They also might have something wrong with them (mentally).

Because that person (the stalker) is mentally unstable.

Maybe they just won't take "no" for an answer. Maybe they think they should always get what they want.
