Me, my mother and two sister staying for 5 months in our new condominium. It's only one bedroom( the whole second floor + small bathroom and kitchen + dinning room for the main floor) . We've been paying almost $2,000.00 a month + $170.00 for H.O.A.(home owners association). Without swimming pool or a nice garden. When I saw an apartment costing the same thing as we have it also have a gym and other amenities. This condo unit is eating our savings. I don't know what to do?

You need to decide if you can get out of your condo what you paid for it. I would suggest talking to someone about selling your condo and the pros of renting it out. If you have a choice location close to the beach or city, you might be able to find a good renter. Make it worth their while though with good upgrades and including the water and sewer and trash bill in the cost of rent.

Try selling it or renting it out, and let it pay for itself. But for future reference..Don't rush when your purchasing something. Take your time. And go through the house or condo or whatever you are buying and ask yourself are you gonna be happy here? Is there enough space for you and any potential family that will come and live with you. And is it really worth what your paying for. There is no reason you should have to live your life stuck in a place your paying $2,000 for a month, for a one bedroom. I really hope for the best for you. I know how frustrating it can get when you live in a small place and your paying an arm and leg for it. Good luck!

That stinks, but I am confused why with 4 of you would you buy anything with only 1 bedroom? rent it maybe, but buy??? See if you can find another place and at least rent the condo out if at all possible before it sucks you dry. If you are going to be broke you should at least be comfortable.

At this point you probably can't get what you paid for your condo, and it is pretty usual that you can rent for cheaper than what you pay when you own. This is because the owners are willing to write off the loss between what they pay and the rent they actually get in order to just keep it rented.

Whoa - if you are spending more than you are earning on this condo - then the only thing to do is to sell it and get out

Be happy that you have shelter and are at least comfortable. Alot of Americans cannot say that. You can.
