3/4x=9/16
multiply both sides by 4/3
(4/3)*(3/4)x=9/16*4/3
x= 36/48
x=3/4

Your wording is a little ambiguous. Is that first term (3/4)x, or 3/(4x)?
If the equation is (3/4)x = 9/16, then just divide both sides by 3/4. Dividing by 3/4 is the same as multiplying by 4/3, so the equation becomes x = (9/16)*(4/3). You can reduce this down to 3/4.
If you meant 3/(4x) = 9/16, multiply both sides by 4x. You get 3 = (9/16)*4x. Multiply both sides by 16 to get rid of the fraction. You get 16*3 = 9*4x. Solve this for x. You should end up with 4/3.

Multiply both sides by 16 to get rid of the fractions:
16(3/4x)=16(9/16)
12x=9
Divide 12 from both sides:
x=9/12=3/4
Check:
3/4(3/4)=9/16
9/16=9/16
I hope this helps!

okay, so look.
3/4x=9/16 right?
so from there u need x on a side by itself.
u can either divide 9/16 by 4, then multipy by 3, or just divide by 3/4. either way u get
x=3/4 or 0.75 or 75%
hope this helped!
