It could be. My lil' bro had a friend (about nine or ten) who ALWAYS walked around on his toes. When his parents told him not to, he couldn't stop because it hurt to put his heels on the ground. Why? Because walking on his tiptoes constantly had shortened his Achilles tendon to the point where he needed a (painful) operation to repair it. If you like to walk on your toes, then yes, your calves will get stronger, but every now and then, you need to stand on a step with your heels hanging over the edge and stretch your Achilles out. Don't bounce; just let gravity pull your heels down and slightly push them down yourself. Otherwise, no there's nothing wrong with walking on your toes, as long as it doesn't hurt!

Ciao!

Hahaha, I walk on my tip-toes too!! I do that all the time at home, especially when I'm barefoot, and I'm always barefoot... everyone laughs at me but it's okay. My boyfriend thinks it's cute so it's all good ^_^

Well I HOPE there will be no problems, but I'm not worrying *shrug*

when i was a baby i had slight "knock knees" and my doctor had me walk on my tip toes all the time, and it did get rid of the problem, but it took me a long time to quit doing it. im 34 and so far ive not noticed any problems from it...

No, not at all. It will make your feet stronger and might actually prevent some problems in your old age.

NO! Its not actually. Unless you have some kind of problem with your legs, it will strengthen the calves. I do that a lot too. don't stop doing it.

No, its not a bad habit at all. It actually will probably strengthen your gastrocnemius (calf muscles)
