it will tow a single waverunner no problem. the fuel mileage is not as good as listed on the sticker. average 21-22 in town. great car, very versatile and practical. we have a 2006 exp all wheel drive. just turned 6000 miles and still love it. i havent noticed it being noisy at all. maybe he just needs to turn the radio up.

I owned one and we loved it. Only problem we had was we kept getting rock chips in the windsheild because it's so flat. The payload of the Element is amazingly low (less than 900 lbs of passengers and gear), so I'd check the towing limits before I bought it. We overloaded ours all the time, but towing is different.

It's basically a Civic underneath, so it's tough.

If it doesn't you can remove the seats and it will easily fit then. I owned a 2004 and the seats are easy to take out.

It is a good car, the only draw back is a lot of road noise because it is so hollow.
