You have to learn that true happiness is not anything materialistic. True happiness comes from within. As long as you as a person are happy, that's true happiness. Say that you want to better yourself at education. Go to school and get your degree, then you can feel good about yourself, and get a good paying job. You'll have a good education, and a career. That will make you feel good about yourself and you should be happy. To each is own, that might not be what makes you happy. For me, I found true happiness in my two children and when I found my husband (who is not the father of my kids). I went to school and got my degree and have a good job. I am truly blessed and very happy. Happiness comes from within and I have to find out what made me happy and go get it. I hope you find your true happiness.

First stop thinking that happiness is something that you can "find". It is already inside you and has never left. It has just been clouded by bad thoughts and pessimism. Be an optimist and things will generally turn out okay simply because you want them to and believe they will. Besides, no one likes to be around someone who is sad and depressed! Look at the bright side of things...your health, house, family, job, friends...If you give up on something, how can it get better? The world is good and getting better.
Also just do what makes you happy, if you don't like your job, quit (although think about your future...) and get another you want! Buy something that will make you happy: a food, game, book...whatever!! You only have one life, too many people waste it serving others. Do something for you! Live and let live. Don't involve yourself in things that don't concern you and live your own life!

Let go of all false expectations. Just be yourself. Don't apologize for who or what you are. Do what you love. And the most important way to find true happiness: Laughter. True and honest laughter.

Perhaps this is the deepest most fundamental question of humanity. My suggestion: open your eyes, take a breath of fresh air, and enjoy this very moment. There you will feel and see the essence of the universe, life, God, and your self. Love everything and serve everyone. Truly you will find the answer you seek. :)

Sorry but you can't find it, find a purpose in life, put yourself wholeheartedly into it and you will find you are truly happy.

You seem to be too greedy. I would settle for even a fake happiness myself.
