Some peoples voices are lower then others. But one way to help exspand (higher or lower) the range of your voice (how high or low you can sing) would be to practice with a piano or a cd. What you do is work a little at a time. See how high you can sing and then start practicing the next note up until you can sing it on key (the right pitch), it won't sound good at first but as you go it will get better. You don't need any special cds or anything, just the ones you listen to regularly. Find the songs were the singer(s) sing higher then you do and then practice sounding the way they do. You will adventual "train" your vocal cords to sing higher. Another tip is if you are singing higher you are really forcing the air through the cavities in your face (low singing comes from the chest, medium singing comes from the throat and high singing comes from the head.) When you are singing high it is easy to start letting the air come out your nose instead of your mouth, which gives it a better sound. To help stop that habit, pinch your nose shut. If you are singing through your nose it will sound like you have a suffy nose.

i would have to say either get lessons or quit singing girl. im sorry to say this but there really is no way to chang youre voice.

If you are a woman, maybe you have a problem with sopran voice, you should see an ORL doctor, but I don't think he can help you much.

damn. me too they say my voice are like the bands on tv but i'm a girl you can sing but just when no one is around.

umm...singing lessons perhaps? Or, carry around that non-feminine voice of yours with great pride...*HACK*....No, seriously, not many people have that ability. Have fun with it. I don't know, don't even listen to me.
