i had a friend once who told me that she worn crotchless panties under her suits to work - she said at business meetings it made her feel special because it was just her "little secret".
Victoria's Secret was a local store (chain) owned by a woman. the Limited bought the company recognizing there was no national store for women to get lingere that was sexy but not quiet "jumping the shark" - Frederick's of Hollywood and most of the other "Adult Stores" aren't always professional, classy or geared to women. Women don't like shopping for underwear beside the giant sex toy or XXX video's, and they don't want to buy sexy nothings at the same store their grandmother buys underwear (Sears, Macy's, etc)
The secret refers to the secret of what's under a woman's clothing. As a man I can tell you it's forefront on our minds.

well, it is a leingere store. i know i cannot spell for beans right now. but maybe she had a fling with some guy while she was still married and was talking to a friend one day about it and her husband walked in and she said something about her secret and he asked what it was and she said it was a store and she was going to open it soon and so she called it Victoria secret.

Her secret is what she does with the millions of dollars shes making! Bra's for $42.50 ! Too expensive and the quality isnt the best.
