To teach kids about sex? Isn't that something that parents should be doing, or is that just another thing that parents want left up to incompetent public servants.

It isn't why I send my child to school. We parents now have to teach our children younger and younger, just to beat the system.

Some crazy judge got the idea that children were having sex because they didn't know what it was.

Well, that's my stance.

On the other hand, the kids who need it the most have braindead parents, so I guess it goes both ways. But if anyone wants a reason to why there isn't enough money in the budget, it's because it's going to these crap-programs. Same as all those "It's-Not-Your-Fault" drug counselors and God only knows what else. It'd be fine if they left the sex-ed unbiased and taught abstinence instead of how to put on condoms. As for my school, they hired an all-abstinence program.

As for the braindead parents thing, that's the reason our nation is going to the dogs.

Because some kids will get insufficient, or incorrect or incomplete or highly biased "education" about sex from their parents, whereas the public schools have to at least deal with pragmatic issues like birth control.
Fortunately, my mother gave me a book when I entered high school called "Boys and Sex" by an MD. My father had nothing to offer on the subject being that he's a puritanical prude.

Good question I have felt this way for long time. It is the parents job to teach their childern about sex but somehow the school system has taken that job over and they are making a mess of it.
When a 2 grader knows about the reproductive system that is going to far.
Now I don't have children inschool but I do know this one things and that is if I did have kids I would not want the school system telling them about sex.

Because activist judges gave schools that power. Why should mom and dad do it when the government can, especially since taxpayer dollars can be used. It increases the power of the school system and ultimately teachers' unions. The government believes people can't do things for themselves, so the gov't tries to get its cooties on everything to increase its own power - and what's a jucier target than the education (indoctination?) of children? Well done, friends of the left.

One's failure to stick one's leg out of one's dress for all to see does not make one incompetent. However, it is quite obvious to some when one has suffered a poor grade while attending charm school.

Parents need to do a lot more to raise their own children, instead of relying on teachers to do it.

As for being incompetent, you must have been a good student to have in class.
