I think its awful and its murder!! (celeberties should not be wearing it because it makes it look ok to their fans, and its not!!)

P.S I am also talking about leather, or ANYthing that is made out of animals that is NOT for our survival (like food). and 4 the ppl who DO agree, i respect your opinion, but how could you think taking away a life for fashion or whatever is ok?

I totally agree with you. You kill an animal just so you can look good in front of people? It doesn't make sense! So in their world an animal is an object which you can strike at anytime like this animal doesn't have a family life or what ever! I think wearing it is absurd and fake fur is just as good.

I agree. Fake fur these days looks better than the real thing and probably smells better too. Plus I doubt there are many times that our survival depends on killing an animal for its fur. To do it just for fashion or some kind of status or ego thing is shallow and unnecessary.

I respect your opinion unless you are like one of the persons I saw on TV protesting hunters for animal rights yet a couple of them were wearing Nike, obviously leather, sport shoes! Do you have anything in your household or that you purchased that escapes scrutiny? Own anything leather at all? Are you a vegan vegetarian? Do you mean to tell me a dead chicken feels okay with it because you ate her rather than wore her? I agree that it is fashion rather than necessity. I get and agree with your point but I still smell a hypocrite!

I disagree, we kill animals all the time for food that we don't always need. We have leather and goose down pillows that nobody seems to notice. But if somebody wears a mink coat...all hell breaks loose, it doesn't make sense! The throwing of red paint is ridiculous, why ruin the coat that the animals died to make? Everyone has their own opinion, but I have no problem with fur.

I would wear fur to stay warm but not for fashion. Yes it is murder but if I had a choice of killing a animal and using the fur as a coat or being cold I would take the fur.

Fans are stupid if they can't think for themselves. Celebrities are there to act/sing, not to show people the way.
I think PETA demonstrators use very stupid tactics in tossing paint on people wearing furs; then the person has to kill additional animals to replace the fur. Duh.
Many people inherited furs, I see nothing wrong with wearing them. And if you got as worked up about leather shoes, maybe you'd have something.
So yes, death is bad, but people are going to keep wearing it.

I have fur, all over my house. All of it has been shot by me, with ONE shot kills. I love the feel of fur, and the taste of meat. I have furlined gloves, hats, and jackets, MOST of whih I made myself. It gets cold out in the woods looking for more fur

It's their choice to wear fur not ours. I think its wrong....if the animals are killed just for fur, but if the animal just died then it would be a waste not too.
I wouldnt buy real fur....it's pretty sad.

If the animals died of natural causes, I'm ok with it. However, being the animal man I am, I think that killing animals for their fur (unless necessary) is a crime.
