how should i break it to my parents. im 13 and they will kill me. help!

my parents aren't so forgiving and im so freakin happy but im scared also. it never hurt either. but still what sould i do?

oww that sounds like it would hurt,maby you could take out the ring and tell them the hole was an acident and when they leave put the ring back in

Did you peirce it yourself? If then, make sure your method was sanitary so your parents have a -little- peace of mind. If it was done proffesionally then thats a bonus. I would take the parent that you can talk to the easiest and be blunt about it. Say what you are feeling and why you did it. Then get that parent to help you tell the other parent and explain. Good luck, I hope you don't get into too much trouble

Holy crap! Seriously? lol, I'm 13, too, and all I can say is good luck! OMG, ok, here is what you could do. Make sure your parents are in a good mood! BUT, make sure they ARE in a REALLY good mood. Take them out to the movies, or whatever you can, but make sure they don't see your lips. Also, after that, talk to them about serious stuff, like how had your life is right now, or that you got in a fight, show alot of emotion. And then...(drum roll) slowly, show your lips. JUST, ask them how they like it. IF NOT, then tell them it is just a clip on, and take the piercing off, and get over it, because you ARE kinda headed towards a bad path. BEST OF LUCK! (What grade are you in?)

Um, just approach them slowly and casually. Set the mood for a calm reaction.
btw, I saw a post above about a kid piercing her own tongue. Don't ever try that. You'll hit a vein or something.

shouldn't have done it in the first place! do you know you can get fake ones and they look just as real!!! That was a really asinine thing to do! Oh my! your parents are gonna freak for sure! to bad! what can you do?

my friend did the same thing to her tongue......
you should just tell them that this is something you really wanted and that you will take care of it until it heels and just calmlly talk to them about it.

im 13 to and i would just tell them, its better u telling them, then them finding out themselves...... trust me i had that happen, i went and got my second hole and didnt tell them and they got soooo pissed at me.... but they let me keep it :D so ya tell them :)
