I do not know a lot about this issue, but I have seen several nova type programs that have addressed this issue.

In those Nova programs they have said that thought some Non-indigeous plants have been successfully incorporated into a new area, that there are some problems they seen. You bring to the area bugs that may not have been there before, but are attracted to the new plants. These bugs in some instances are harmful to the plants that are indigenous. Some plants as well when you bring them into an area, may over take the indigenous plants, which will also cause problems. Some plants when brought in also bring to an area plant diseases which the indigenous plants can't fight off and you can end up destroying indigenus plants. The more horticulturists learn about plants, the more they can transplant species from one area to another, without causing harm to indigenous plants.

One example of bringing in a plant that has caused a lot of problems, is crab grass. It was not indigenous to utah, was brought in and now it grows wild everywhere and in some places in Utah is hard to control. It over takes many of the natural growing grasses.

kudzu is a huge problem in many areas...as are cat tails. Some of these non-indigenous plants bring non-indigenous insects that feed on them along for the ride. These insects then infect other plants. I dont think non-indigenous plants are harmful to our environment, just harmful to environments other than their own.....

A lot of invasive plants are in fact non-indigenous. And they do have a way of crowding out a lot of the native plants because the usual controls are not there. Kudzu and water hyacinths come to mind.

As a general rule of thumb, ANY non-indigenous life...plant or animal...is always bad for the place it's introduced.

Politicians are often legal experts, which looks to cause them to exceptionally dumb whilst it is composed of technology, because of the fact they think of they are in a position to BS their way in technology like they do in regulation and politics. And who mentioned CO2 is carcinogenic? It absorbs infrared greater beneficial than many different compounds in the ambience- and under H2O does. because of the fact Republicans will fall on their sword for something it truly is significant business enterprise... and massive business enterprise would not decide to settle for CO2 regulation - sure a intense proportion of Republicans will combat Cap and commerce style law. Limbaugh and Hannity are being paid thousands and thousands to spew out something and each little thing to shelter the pastimes of the powers at be. And the sheep purchase into it. and that they repeat it with loads of suggestions-set and sureness. Cap and commerce will truly boost up issues. yet, to get Congress to decide for it on an identical time as Fox and the clean channels would be spewing out "socialism" "vast government" 24 hours an afternoon non-give up would be complicated. it truly is why autonomous media is so significant to real replace. preparation trumps the cycle. we could desire to instruct the media and write the politicians.... be lively... because of the fact the monopolies are unlikely to take this easily.
