what is the best wax?

i have an 05 scion xb it is black i just got it back off my x-wife and it has some minor scratches. i want the best wax for a deep finish and long lasting. i tried meguires next tech it looks great but i wash it one time and the wax is goe any ideas

i heard about this stuff pinnacle souveran but it is 79 dollars for 8 oz.

Most any product that contains Carnuba wax will give you the best, deepest long last finish. Requires work on your part though.

If the wax is dissappearing, maybe you will need to clean more thoroughly. I had this issue when I had the "wax" spray treatment at the car wash. It was preventing my wax and even the vinyl top treatment from adhering.

Dawn dishwashing detergent works great. Since it is thorough, you must wax afterward. Don't use this for between wax washing.

Turtle Wax

After you have a Good Paste Wax and have cleaned the edges

Use the soft Wax once a month or so.
Or just get a soft cloth and some Pledge and touch it up when you feel like it if you keep it in the garage...

I always used wet wax by eagle one on my black chevelle and it does a beautiful job but I don't know if they still make it or not, I haven't seen it lately, also mothers paste wax does a great job on black.

what about mothers?it is a good wax.i used a wax once,but i cant find it here anymore,its simonize.it was the best i ever used.i went through lots of car washes and it still was on.
