I was never in Iraq,or the armed services for that manner(at my age that is now one of the many regrets I have to live with)I commend you on your service and for doing your part, and you have way more right to have your voice heard, though I dont agree with it,I can respect your opinion as you were there and I wasnt.I'm sure that day has run over and over in your mind, and the doubts of why you were there have echoed day after day.Let me thank you for taking on the suffering you are enduring still on my and your fellow countrymens behalf. It is because of you and others like you,our great nation exists still today.I only hope that someday your suffering and angst will diminish to the capacity that you can realize what a hero you are,and why the nation should have more people like yourself in it.My humblest thanks and grattitude. I think you've answered all mine. I'm so glad you made it back - so sorry you had to go. But a question to you - do the rest of the troops feel the same? You, having been there would know better than we who have never been anywhere to fight, if the soilders we see on TV are really real.

I support and pray for the toops because I know that without them we would not have survived as a country as long as we have but I do not support my country's policy on forcing others to see 'freedom' the same way it does....

That sounds confused even to my own ears but there are some things you have control over and a whole lot more that you do not -

I can't even imagine what you've seen and been through. You are truly amazing. I wish I had only half of your courage.

I think you're 100 percent correct in labeling Bush a psychopath. He's obviously more concerned about oil than human lives. Any president who would send his servicemen and women to a place where s.hit like what happened to you will continue happening to others is an inhumane fool.

I take exception to you calling Bush a psychopath.. I dont think his IQ is anywhere near high enough to qualify.. most Psychopaths usually have a very high IQ... (check your DSM IV)

BUT! (now I was never in favor of the iraq thing mind you) You were Military.. thats the chance military takes.. I dont care what they told you about that college money crap etc.. the primary biz of the military is Killing and being killed (and yes i'm X-USRA joined under age in fact) and well seeing as its all volunter at present.. what can I say? This is the real world.. you should have perhaps not signed on? (I know I wouldnt these days.. but back when I was young and stupid.. and it was either that or jail)

OK maybe bush is a nutball.. but is he anymore of a nut ball than you were for signing on that dotted line at the recruiters office? You didnt have to do that ya know...

Liberals have a looooooong history of lying about this, from the vietnam war. As in, the winter soldier investigation, later on, turned out that almost all the participants were either never in the military at all or were non-combatants.

The overwhelming majority of those currently stationed in Iraq support Bush and the war and despise liberals because of all the lies they are saying about them. It was interesting to see a recent photo of Kerry, "visiting the troops". He sits alone in the mess hall. Not a single soldier would sit with him. They turned their backs on him. Because he is a traitor, that is completely appropriate. Contrast that with Bill O'Reilly visiting where he was mobbed everywhere he went. This speaks volumes.

I automatically assume anyone who expresses liberal sentiments, especially about the war and Bush, to simply be a liar. I could be wrong. But I REALLY doubt it.

I think that level of thought is above your pay grade soldier..

Your country appreciates your sacrifices... Take comfort in the fact that what you gave... you gave for a good cause, no matter how you feel about it right now or what they say in the liberal media... Your country called, you signed up, did your duty and made it home... you sir are a hero... remember that.

I wasn't in Iraq but that sucks. I hope you are doing better. Thanks for volunteering to defend freedom. I appreciate your sacrifices.

That being said, Bush is not cunning enough to be a psychopath.

My questions are these:
When did you volunteer to be in the armed services?
Do you think that liberating Iraq is a noble mission?

Thank you for being hear now. I'm think we are getting a lot of B.S. on this Q.& A. from a bunch of irresponsible asses that can type out that they have been there.
Thank you for your efforts in the invasion. Sorry about your injuries, and pray to God that our Govt. doesn't back out of whatever support you will require in the future.
Fu k their politics here and over there. Bring your buddies back home safley to their families. I guess that make me unAmerican. TOO frikin bad. God bless you.

Thank you for your service to your country. If you ever need anything, I am in Canada, my son is with you guys in Afghanistan, hang onto my e-mail address from my profile. I believe your President got sidetracked by the ease of the Desert Storm victory and invaded Iraq for purely political reasons. At the time, Bin Laden hadn't been found, another election was coming up and an easy victory finishing the job his daddy never did would assure him of another mandate. Thank you again for your service and I hope your injuries heal quicker than Bush's approval ratings dropped .
