With approval ratings of 23% and national / Intl. disgust and scorn, was this obvious or a surprise?

...Does anyone not see why there are many, many more Republican presidents in the past than Dem's? It is because every once in a while, we need a refresher course on how shitty the country gets when there is a Democrat up in office. It's okay, it's just going to be one of those refresher courses.


There is an old proverb in China: Only the idiot would attack his brother. Most other nations are laughing at us because we're attacking our own people. It's not easy being the president when all this **** is happening. I'm not saying buy what Bush puts out, but don't sh!t on it either.

If George Bush were doing a great job his deeds would outshine the perceived criticism (which is really the truth) of his detractors. Apparently, the majority of Americans are not buying what Bush is selling. I hope he can successfully manipulate the new bankruptcy laws he helped to create when his "business" tanks.

well...it is NOT coming to destruction...it is coming to an end of term to be correct...this is the same president that had a 90% approval rating...higher than Clinton's high of 73%...the disguest you talk about is only in certain circles...just not the one you are in...Japan, South Korea, Australia, etc...support the troop surge...
