be honest, tell her you are flattered but you're not interested in becoming involved with her. let her know it will not affect how you feel about her, that you love her as a friend but it will only be as friends.

Just let her know that okay we been friends for a long time and i love you LIKE A SISTER, that you are not trying to be mean tis that you just arent try to be like that and that are not a lesbian. But all you can do is pray about and things will work outfor the best.

OMG this happened to me and I felt as if I had been raped.
I had NEVER even suspected that my 'friend' was gay. So while I had these blinders on, we would do things that 'girls that are great friends do'. We would sleep in the same bed during sleepovers, try on clothing in the same dressing room if they were full at a department store etc.
I just felt violated.
I hope your friendship is more durable than mine
I dumped her llittle by little.
Everytime I recalled one of those 'incidents' I got more angry.
Of course she never liked any of the guys I dated etc.
NOW IT WAS ALL CLEAR
in my mind, she was a liar by ommission and I was not flattered at all.
I didnot give a crap about breaking her heart as she did not give a rats azz about mine
I dont see how your friendship can survive
move on!

I once had a straight friend who had a boyfriend of 5 years tell me she was in love with me (and she REALLY was). I just let her know I was extremely flattered but that I did not love her THAT way. Just let her know that it has nothing to do with her, you are just not interested in women sexually. We were able to remain friends.

well u should inform her gently that u cannot do such a thing for her ,coz u r not a lesbian.so don't feel so upset coz sure she accepts that not all ppl are lesbians & gays & she'll accept the fact that u cannot give her the kind of love she wants.

good luck

Explain that you care for her as well but not in that way. You will be there to support her through her relationships though. You appreciate the complement but a serious relationship with her is not something you are interested in. Good luck!

This is probably some crappy advice , but just tell her that i am not gay, and i like u as a good friend and i think thats as far as it should go with a girl. Just see if that helps.

ill say you should speak your mind to her and let her know you are not lesbien before it gets to a complicated stage that she cant let you go. tell her not to see you for some time and if you can. ask her why she is lesbien, what she enjoys in it , try to help her change her mind in being lesbien cause shes your friend. if not the best thing is to stay oof her.

You should tell her how flattered you are, but you're just not into it. She will understand. Choice #2 would be go for it...Just try it. You never know!
